🌿 City of Rusk Spring Clean-Up Day 🌿
The City of Rusk is excited to announce our Spring Clean-Up Day! This is a great opportunity for residents to dispose of unwanted items and help keep our community clean and beautiful.
📅 Date: Saturday, April 18, 2026
⏰ Time: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
📍 Location: City Warehouse, 511 S. Dickinson Dr., Rusk, TX
Who Can Participate:
This event is open to:
✔️ Residents living within Rusk city limits
✔️ Residents outside city limits who receive City of Rusk water service
Accepted Items Include:
✔️ Brush and yard waste
✔️ Furniture and household items
✔️ Appliances (without Freon)
✔️ Construction debris, wood, and metal
✔️ Mattresses, grills, lawn mowers, and more
🚫 NOT Accepted:
❌ Liquids of any kind
❌ Whole tires (must be cut/quartered)
❌ Oil, oil filters, or hazardous waste
❌ Refrigerators, A/C units, or anything with Freon
❌ Paint (unless completely dried)
❌ Batteries, chemicals, pesticides
❌ Medical waste or dead animals
⚠️ Important Reminder:
All items must be manageable by two people when loading.
This event is conducted in compliance with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations to ensure safety for everyone involved.
