NOTICE OF UTILITY RATE CHANGES
The City of Rusk is providing notice of changes to municipal water, wastewater/sewer, solid waste, and related utility rates and fees approved by the Rusk City Council on September 25, 2026.
The effective date of the new rates varies depending on whether utility service is provided inside or outside the corporate limits of the City of Rusk.
Customers inside the City limits: New rates are effective November 1, 2026.
Customers outside the City limits: New rates are effective November 29, 2026.
For complete information regarding the new rates, customers should review the applicable notice below. The adopted Utility Rate Ordinance and Exhibit A – Utility Rate and Fee Schedule are also provided for public review.
